Vieques · Puerto Rico

Wake up where the water starts.

Two shores, three ways to stay. Book direct, skip the platform fees, and add a Jeep for the beaches only locals can find.

Welcome

Two houses, one stretch of coast

Vieques sits eight miles off Puerto Rico's east coast - no traffic lights, wild horses on the roadside, and a bioluminescent bay that glows on a moonless night. Our two properties sit minutes apart and are booked separately, so you can pick the one that fits your trip.

Steps from the sand

Both properties open onto the water. No shuttle, no parking hunt. Walk out and you're on the beach.

A Jeep at the door

Add Jeeps to any booking. The best beaches are down dirt roads - you'll want the clearance.

Book direct, pay less

Reserving here skips the booking platform service fee. Same house, same calendar, lower total.

The properties

Choose your shore

Two properties, on two stretches of coast. Paradise Cove Suites is split into two casitas that book separately - so there are three calendars in all, each with its own rates and its own reservation.

Oceano

A Mediterranean-inspired compound on three levels, cascading down the rock to the water. Five private terraces and a pool facing the sunset - room to gather fifteen, and room to get away from them.

Add-on

Two Jeeps.Every beach on the island.

Vieques rewards anyone willing to leave the pavement. Green Beach, Caracas, La Chiva - the best sand is at the end of a dirt road, and rental cars sell out months ahead.

We keep two Wranglers for our guests, and both go anywhere on the island. The Sahara is the more comfortable of the two; the lifted High Tide, on all-terrain tires, is the one for the roughest tracks. Add one in the same checkout as the house and it will be waiting when you arrive - no separate counter, no second deposit.

Why book here

The same house, for less

You will find both properties on Airbnb and Vrbo, and our calendar syncs live with both. Booking on this site simply removes the middle layer.

No service fee

Platforms add roughly 12–15% to the guest's total. Booking direct removes it.

One live calendar

Availability here is the same calendar as Airbnb and Vrbo, synced in real time. No double bookings.

Jeeps only sold here

Add-ons cannot be sold through the platforms. The Jeep option exists on this site only.

The island

Vieques, briefly

Eight miles off the mainland, reachable by a short ferry from Ceiba or a twenty-minute flight from San Juan. Two thirds of it is a national wildlife refuge, which is why the beaches stay empty.

Good to know

Common questions

Are the two properties booked together or separately?

Separately. Oceano and Paradise Cove Suites have their own calendars, rates and reservations. If you want both for a larger group, send us a message and we will coordinate the dates.

How do I get to Vieques?

Two ways. The ferry runs from Ceiba on the east coast of Puerto Rico - book ahead, as it fills up. Or fly from San Juan (SJU) or Ceiba (RVR) to Vieques (VQS) in about twenty minutes. We will send door-to-door directions once your booking is confirmed.

Do I really need a Jeep?

If you plan to stay by the house, no. If you want the refuge beaches, yes - the access roads are unpaved and often rutted after rain. Island rentals sell out well in advance, which is why we keep two on hand for guests.

What payment methods do you accept?

All major credit and debit cards, processed securely at checkout. Card details are handled by our payment processor and never stored on this site.

What is your cancellation policy?

Ask about moving your dates before you cancel. If what you want is open, we would rather reschedule you than lose you, and a move is not a cancellation.

If you do need to cancel, how much comes back depends on how much notice you give, and is the same whichever payment schedule applies. A $50 cancellation fee comes off whatever is refunded.

Notice we receive Refunded to you
More than 90 days before arrival100% of your total
60 to 90 days75%
30 to 60 days50%
Inside 30 daysNo refund

We will always try to re-sell your dates, and whatever we re-sell comes back to you, less a $50 fee. A refund never exceeds what you have actually paid, so you are never billed for cancelling. Full terms on the Oceano and Paradise Cove pages.
